In 2011, Encore Las Vegas resort opened across from Wynn Resort with an estimated $2.5 billion price tag. In 2018 Bellagio was sold along with other Caesars properties in a deal worth around $17.4 billion to Eldorado Resorts.

The Fountains of Bellagio have been performing every night since their opening, and on special occasions like holidays or major events; they can be seen from anywhere within the Strip but are most popular when viewed at street level near Caesars Palace.
